Graphics

In the Graphics section, you will find AFP's graphics in six languages: French, English, Spanish, German, Portuguese and Arabic.

In most languages you will find:

• the advisory: the daily advisories, updated several times a day with advisory notes of coverage for important events;

• the production for the last three days,

• the production for the last thirty days,

• theme-based folders (Olympic Games,  Euro 2008, space, environment, etc),

• country files,

• the archives.

To search for a graphic, you can:

• Use the search engine in the upper left by going to "More criteria": indicate the subject of your search in "your query" and in the bottom window select "AFP-graphics" as provider and the language you want to be used for your search.

• Open the corresponding folder and return:

=> The list of sub-sections for the selected language is displayed.

1. Click on the sub-section you are interested in.

=> The result list is displayed.

2. Select and download the documents.

The graphics are supplied as a compressed file in EPS format editable using the  Illustrator CS software. They are fully editable with Illustrator CS, CS2 and CS3.

This file can also be imported into a photo system that handles EPS format (e.g. Photoshop or Fireworks). In this case, the graphic can no longer be edited, but it is possible to create a jpg, gif or bitmap type of Image.

Internet customers have access to a photo file in JPEG format, with a maximum size geometry of 512 X 512.
