Using the on-line helpsection

This page is intended to provide you with everything you need to make the most effective use of the ImageForum help function.

 

The help window is divided into two parts:

 

 

 

Content summary

You have three functions for navigating through the on-line help section. To access one of these functions, click on the tab:

 

Guide contents. Like a printed guide, the help is organised into chapters and sub-chapters. Click on a chapter () to display the sub-chapters and pages it contains (the chapter's icon then changes to ).

Click on a page ( )  to display its content on the right-hand side of the window.  

Search by pre-defined key word.

Enter the key word or select it from the list, then press "Enter". If just one page matches the search term, this is displayed directly on the right-hand side. If several pages match the search term, a dialogue box displays the list of pages found. Click on the desired page to display its content on the right-hand side.

Full text search (two steps).

Enter the word(s) to search for (you can use the logical operators AND and OR), then press "Enter". The list of pages found is displayed. Click on the desired page to have its content displayed on the right-hand side.  

 

To hide the guide contents, click on  . To display them again, click on .
