Introduction

ImageForum is a powerful database developed by Agence France Presse to meet the full range of requirements for international photos and graphics.

The navigation through this database is possible:

1. from your secured access: for downloading documents from a wide choice of preselections themes with functions for managing queries and monitoring download quotas.

2. from the visitors’ access: for browsing the latest news photos from throughout the world, photo archives going back to the origins of photography and our partners' photo collections.

This help section is applicable for both parts of the site. The logo identifies those features that are reserved solely for registered users.

You can select documents using:

• quick links to:

• the advisories, which list the day's events,

• various themes,

• the day's news (the AFP today section),

• recent happenings and events,

• a list of topics updated to reflect the latest news.

• a manual search:

• by entering specific keywords (quick search),

• by using a more criteria search form.

For registered users: once you have selected your documents you can download them. Your quota of photos, negotiated when you register with AFP, is automatically managed by ImageForum:. You can view your customer account at any time.
