La Agencia Cubana de Noticias, división de la Agencia de Información Nacional (AIN), fue creada el 21 de mayo de 1974. Ofrece noticias, reportajes, entrevistas, opiniones y análisis mediante textos, imágenes y audio sobre el acontecer cubano a partir de una competente red nacional de corresponsales ubicados a lo largo y ancho del país.

La agencia tiene por misión divulgar los principales acontecimientos que ocurren en Cuba, así como los relacionados con la nación en otras partes del mundo, para lo cual mantiene, además, convenios con importantes agencias nacionales e internacionales de prensa.

The Cuban News Agency (ACN), a sub division of Cuba 's National Information Agency (AIN), was created on May 21, 1974 . Its services include news articles, reportages, interviews and commentaries on Cuba's reality, written by a professional team of journalists connected to an efficient national network throughout the island.

ACN's main objective is to spread news on major events taking place on the island. It has signed agreements with other national and international news agencies to inform on Cuba-related developments that occur beyond the island's frontiers.
